1. APPOINTMENTS

First consultations and treatment last up to an hour and subsequent appointments are around 40 minutes.

Please give 24 hours notice of cancellation.

Please be on time for your appointment. I will endeavour to be on time to treat you. You will receive a text reminder of your appointment.

You will be advised of the likely number of appointments required to get a positive improvement or resolution to your condition. If there is progress with your care and you are getting better but require further treatment, another session or block of sessions may be advised.

2. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations of bookings are accepted up to 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the treatment are forfeited. No refund will be offered unless there is an undeniably unavoidable circumstance preventing you from keeping your appointment. You may choose to rebook without paying a further fee in this instance.

Refunds are not payable in the following circumstances:
– You have changed your mind.

– You have already had your treatment.

– You choose not to complete your package or session.

– You have booked your treatment and are not at the correct location to receive it at the appointed time.

3. FEES, PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS

A deposit of 50% is to be made at the time of  booking. You will have the option to pay in full when booking if you prefer.

Prices may be subject to change and the practitioner reserves the right to adjust prices where necessary.

For acupuncture to be most effective and long lasting a course of treatment is usually required. Because of this, I recommend packages of 4 or 6 treatments.

Progress will be reviewed continually and also after the number of sessions has been reached and you will be advised on how many more sessions you may or may not need going forward.

If you have regular top up treatments on a monthly or longer basis, you can choose between booking a single treatment or taking up a 4 or 6 treatment package. Packages need to be taken within a year.

4. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

I take your privacy very seriously and am bound by a code of conduct with the British Acupuncture Council. Records are kept secure in a locked filing cabinet and are legally required to be kept for 7 years.

Anonymity is maintained if discussions about treatment are held with acupuncture peers. Data is never shared with a third party.

5. MARKETING

Clients give permission for photography, filming and social media communication to take place that can be shared on social media and other marketing sources.

Clients understand that any comment they say/write/film can be used as a testimonial to promote the company. This also includes photography. The client reserves the right to remain anonymous where written testimonials are concerned. Please inform me if these marketing terms are objectionable to you.
